Now Trending | Palazzo Pants

While everyone may be gearing up for fall, I'm just hanging on to the last few weeks of summer.  Fall is fast approaching and I have awesome looks planned for the transition.  For now I'll continue to rock flowing fabrics in bright colors and funky prints.  I live in the south so it ain't gonna get cool for a while here.

I know the palazzo pant has been trending for a while now and I have to say that it is one of my fave to wear during the hot, muggy, dog days of summer.  They move when you do, let your thighs breathe, and are sooo darn cute!  I was a little leery to try this trend though, due to my short stature (5' 3").  Add to that my wide hips and thighs and I was for sure they would make me look frumpy.
Clutch ~ Family Dollar $5 (old)
Midi Rings ~ Forever 21 clearance (old)
Necklace ~ Gabe's $5.99
Gold plated bangles ~ It's Fashion (old)

However, as you can see in my photos, I was slightly feeling myself when I slid these babies over my thick thighs and ample bottom.  I thought, "well would you look at that, they don't look too shabby after all."...lol.  They came with a cute belt coordinated with the chevron print allowing me to accentuate my waist and create a slimmer silhouette.
I'm still shopping my closet guys, so I pulled out these pants from last summer and decided to style them differently.  If you'd like to see how I last styled them, you can check out that post here.  I think I like the way I styled it this go round the best of the two.
What do you guys think?  Do you prefer the palazzo pant trend?  How do you style yours?  Drop me a line below.  Follow me on InstagramFacebook, and Pinterest.  Thank you for reading and I'll be back soon with a new post for some fashion inspiration.  Until next time....

Peace and Love,

  8. I love how confident and "sunny" you look in these pants and in this photo shoot. I owned some palazzo pregnancy pants once and loved them. They almost felt like pajama pants to me. Have a great weekend!
