Unwritten: Romping Around

"Feel the rain on your skin, no one else can feel it for you only you can let it in.  No one else, no one else can speak the words on your lips.  Drench yourself in words unspoken.  Live your life with arms wide open.  Today is where your book begins, the rest is still unwritten." ~ Natasha Bedingfield (Theme song for MTV's The Hills)
There is something so freeing about living the life you want without any cares or worries that can sometimes crowd your mind.  I've been focused on doing that a lot more often.  Music is something that helps free my mind, lift my spirit and sometimes inspires my style of dress for the day.  Unwritten, by Natasha Bedingfield has always been one of my favorite songs to uplift my mood when  I just want to feel good.  Ya know, one of those dance-in-the-rain kinda feel goods...lol.

I truly released my inhibitions this day when I wore a romper for the first time EVER!  To be honest, I don't even remember wearing one as a kid.  Well I've become more confident in loving my body for the things it does for me.  While it may be flabby, lumpy, fluffy, chubby...whatever you want to call it...it is mine.  I'm eating better, moving more, praying and meditating daily and just loving myself better all around.  If you're reading this and in need of encouragement, I challenge you to just wear what you love and makes you feel good.
I don't think my smile faded once on this day.  I looked in the mirror and literally started singing Unwritten and began twirling around my room.  I love the cut and fit of this romper.  It's very loose fitting, flowing away from my body and the top portion of it is attached but constructed to look like a matching top.  It allowed my curves to not feel constricted and I didn't feel self conscious about my booty all day...which is a plus in my book!

  6. What a lovely romper, and it definitely makes you look cute and confident. I have only one romper and it was the first I think I have worn my whole life (unless you count baby rompers or onsies haha).
