Dream Again

Hey Kurvy Korner lovers!

I hope you're having an awesome day!  Why?  Because, it's Friday!  I wanted to feature a look that I would casually wear on a weekend to go out and run errands.  On Saturdays I like to dress down.  For me, wearing an outfit that is well put together without looking as though it took a major effort is key.  I decided to pair my salmon colored graphic tee with a medium-wash pair of denim jeans.  Adding metallic gold accessories such as these loafers, a watch and a simple pair of hoops played up the foil print "dream" on my shirt.

I purchased this shirt during the Dream Women's Conference at my church, Redemption, a couple of months ago.  I plan to wear it a lot as a reminder to press forward and don't give up.  Recent life changes had caused me to want to give up on my dreams.  I stopped dreaming and became somewhat depressed and melancholic.  I would literally go to work, smile at others, come home, undress and lay on my bed.  Sometimes deeply sighing and at times boo-hooing my eyes out.  It may not come across as that on my blog, but let's be real, we've all been guilty of "wearing masks"....myself included.

So here's to the weekend!  I plan to get some fresh air maybe go apple-picking (I love honeycrisp apples!), or just hang out with family and friends.  It's time for me to dream again!

Thick thighs, foil print graphic tee, denim blue jeans, metallic gold loafers
These jeans fit like a glove and compliment my skin tone very well.  I found them at Gabe's for about 10 bucks!  Scoooore!

Aren't these the cuuuuutest loafers?!  Found these at Gabe's as well for about 6 bucks!

I hope you enjoyed this post and it gave you some weekend style inspiration.  How do you dress down for the weekend?
