Hey fashion lovers!! I hope you had a fan-tabulous holiday with your family and friends. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing my loved ones and eating my fill of turkey and sides to last me for a good while...lol. I've gotta be honest about this plaid trend. At first I was like, ya know, what's the big deal with all the plaid...lol. And then, you guys, I tried this on and started prancing in the dressing room mirror. I couldn't get over how comfortable it was and pictured how many ways I could restyle it to fit my lifestyle.
Plaid Button Down: It's Fashion $15.99 | Random Tee: Old | Denim Capris: Gifted | Boots: Avenue (old) | Fringe Clutch: Gabe's $3 (old) | Necklace: Charlotte Russe
For this look, I decided to play up the maroon, sort of purplish hue in the top, by adding my fringe clutch. Fringe is also trending, but to me it's no trend because I carry it, wear it, flaunt it...whenever I fancy the feeling. These denim capris are sooooo old! I love them because they are good and worn in. I've had them at least 4 years or so and still have the inner thighs intact...lol. That's a plus in my book.
I also decided to rock my mega puff! It's gotten huge under my protective style that I've been wearing. Sadly, it's gonna need a trim...yikes! I hate going to the salon, because sometimes they get a little "scissor-happy" if you get my drift. I'm like, darn I sat in Edward Scissorhands' sister's chair when they whip me around to the mirror...lol.
Isn't this necklace the perf accessory for this outfit?! Ahhh!
Y'all know I have more looks in store rocking the plaid trend soon, right? Right...hence the Plaid 3 ways title. So stay tuned fashion lovers! If you aren't following my Instagram, you should! I share some looks there before they make it to the blog, a sneak preview of sorts. Until next time...xoxoxo
This just made me realize that I don't have any plaid in my wardrobe...*gasp* You look great and I love you clutch!!!!

DeleteIt seems to be such a thing this season that I've been considering adding some plaid to my own wardrobe. Plaid, windowpane. I feel like I "should" but so far, nothing I've seen has clicked with me.
ReplyDeleteI like your outfit, though! I'll continue keeping my eye out for whatever might come along.
I saw your post in the Cappucino & Fashion linkup. Here's my linkup post...
