Hey y'all! A new week is here and I'm so excited mother nature has graced us with such beautiful spring time weather. Although, my allergies to this pollen may not agree, I'm ecstatic to frolic in the sunshine and soak up some Vitamin D. How was your weekend? I hope it was nothing but fun and relaxation. Back to work tomorrow for me and I'm feverishly counting down the days to summer vacation!
I pride myself on looking well when I step out, however, I also have a tight budget as most of America does at this point. Being a wife and mother of four, I have to be frugal with my shopping habits and that doesn't include just clothing. If you've been following my blog for a while, you'll know that one of my favorite places for thrifty finds is Goodwill. Yes, you can find some good quality clothing at Goodwill. I may have to search through loads of tattered and worn clothing for some precious gems, but once I find that gem nothing can describe the joy that spreads across my face.
Imagine my surprise when I came across this fabulous black and white polka dot blazer! It was definitely a steal at around seven bucks. It's a dressbarn label and a size 22/24. A cotton blend, lightweight and breathable fabric. Perfect for spring weather. I love the ruched detail on the three-quarter-length sleeves as well as the black piping around the lapel and hem line. The kelly green slacks were last worn on the blog here.
I opted to accessorize with color coordinated items with a simple beaded necklace, black-and-white triangular shaped earrings, black wooden stretch bracelet and round black sunglasses. Let's talk about these shoes!! I luuurve them...lol. But sadly, they are a tad bit difficult for me to walk in...bummer. They're a cute and trendy shoe. Something different for me...I only paid $6.99 for them so I'm not to mad about that. I may pass these babies on to a good loving home.
Outfit Details:
Blazer ~ Dressbarn via Goodwill $7
Lace Tank ~ Lane Bryant via Gabe's $5
Green Slacks ~ Jones Studio via Gabe's $7
Trendy Wedges ~ $7
And that my friends, is how to look good and feel good on a budget. Until next time.....
Peace and love,
xo Kishina xo
