Tunic and Camo Leggings

Hey guys!  How is your summer going?  Me, mine is going awesome.  The long days filled with laughter from my kids, leisurely walks in the park, sight-seeing in our city, lots of grilled food, and staying cool in the pool as much as we can.
Outfit Details:
Tunic ~ It's Fashion (last summer)
Camouflage Leggings ~ Wal-Mart $10
Ballet Flats ~ Wal-Mart $10
Accessories ~ Old
Staying cool while still looking cute and well put together is always my aim.  I found this cute tunic packed away in my summer wardrobe from last year and decided to wear it with these camo leggings I purchased from Wal-Mart.  I love the color and style of the tunic and also the leggings.  These leggings are soft as ever, y'all.  I mean, they literally feel like pajamas.  Totally winning!
However, I'm not quite convinced on how everything turned out with the way I styled this outfit.  If I had to rate this outfit from 1-10, I would give it a 7.  I think it's the ballet flats or maybe my jewelry that has me on the fence with this look.  I do have some different shoes in mind like maybe these I wore here.  They would complement this look perfectly.  And kind of dress it up a bit.

Perhaps, I will restyle this and feature a different way to wear it in the future.  And my hair, oh-em-gee I'm soooo over it.  I've tried this natural thing for a few years now and I have developed a love hate relationship with my texture.  It is extremely kinky and tightly coiled and I feel I fight with it every was day.  I'm so tempted to put a relaxer in again and call it a day.  If I don't get braids or some type of protective style soon, I see the "creamy crack" in my near future.  Straight styles are a no-go right now as the southern heat and humidity will only cause it to revert back to this big puff ball.  Sigh....
Thank you all for reading and sticking with me each week.  I hope my outfit post are an inspiration to you in some way or another.  Until next time, stay lovely and be blessed!

  7. I can't tell you how many times I have felt the same way about a look. Thinking I should have worn different shoes or more jewelry or perhaps change the sunglasses. Glad to know that I am the only one that does that. :) By the way the hot pink is WINNING.

  10. I like these leggings because they hold in my stomach. I am 45 years old and highly recommend these leggings for people that have a little excess in the stomach area. The fabric of alo yoga is fairly thick and not see through.
