Let it Flow

Black and white floral dress, lace up gladiators, half tinted lens sunglasses

This dress was a steal when I purchased it from Gabe's at the beginning of the summer season.  At only $12.99 I could not leave it hanging on the rack...lol.  It retails for around 60 or 70 bucks, but y'all know this budget shopping girly is not here for ANY of that!  My mission during the summer is to stay as cool as possible, so a lot of my summer wardrobe consist of dresses and shorts.  This dress HAD to come home with me.  It was a must for my sanity and peace of mind during the sweltering heat waves associated with June, July and August....lol.
Summer Fashion Tip
Keep cool during the summer months by wearing flow-y, breathable fabrics.
Have you had a chance to view my most recent posts showcasing this gorgeous maxi dress and beautifully painted frock?  These have been my go to pieces for the summer.  What have you been wearing to stay cool?

Summer Fashion Tip
Combat high temps and humidity by wearing your hair in a high ponytail.

My favorite thing about this dress the fit and flare of it on my body.  I put on a belt to define my waist, threw on some lace up gladiators (I got for the low at Rainbow), added some rad sunglasses and thought I was cute honey...lol!
Because it is soooo hot where I live, I am always looking for ways to keep cool.  One way I combat this God awful heat is to wear flowing, breathable fabrics.  This dress is a cotton blend and keeps me cool, dry and comfortable.  Not to mention this gorg print that can be dressed up or down.
Summer Fashion Tip
Ditch shapewear and let your skin breath as much as possible during high temps.
I was too happy to snatch off my shapewear and unleash the belly as well...lol.  Clearly, no shapewear is needed due to the awesome print and design of the dress.  EVERYTHING was camouflaged precisely where it was needed.
