Simplicity

I know, I know...(sigh).  I've been away for a bit.  Truth is, I was getting a little burned out on blogging.  Sometimes I feel my little space in the blogosphere isn't inspiring enough to keep going.  But, then I realized, I would do this even if no one read it.  Simply because I love it!  I love taking fashion and making it my own.

I've discovered that my style is ever changing.  This shirt I created is symbolic of that.  I can wear it soooo many ways you guys!  I plan on showing you just how many, so stay tuned.  The fabric is lightweight and stretchy.  This top is seasonal, really.  It's all in how you style it.

For instance,  with this look, I have incorporated these olive skinnies and caramel colored riding boots to complete my ensemble.  I added gold accessories and leopard print sunglasses to give it a little character.

I apologize for the poor quality photos, but it's all I had to work with.

I hope you've enjoyed this outfit and it has inspired you in some way.  As the old saying goes, "less is more", this look proves that sometimes all it takes is a few accessories and loads of confidence to OWN your outfit.  Stay lovely my sweets!

Until next time...

  1. I love the top and the color. Honestly I feel the same way about blogging. Literally everyday I go back and forth on whether I want to keep going. I don't even feel inspired really so if someone else gets inspired from my style as of late I would be shocked lolll. I think I'm going to keep going but I probably won't out but 1 or 2 looks a month. I really enjoy not blogging more nowadays and I don't know if that's good or bad.

    1. Oh wow! I'm glad I'm not the only one feeling this way. It's great to know someone understands where I'm coming from. I enjoy your style because we have similar taste. Thanks for all your inspiration! I do enjoy sharing my style, but honestly sometimes it's just a hassle to get outfit photos. Especially when you're the only person who's in your corner rooting yourself on...lol. *le sigh* #bloggerproblems

    2. Yes it's such a hassle to get outfit photos I wish I could scout locations and all that jazz but I'm just not up for it anymore lolll! I get tired nowadays thinking about posing for blog pics and it's to the point that I'm beginning to hate pictures even when they aren't blog pics because the thought of pictures makes me instantly tired lolllll. Let's hope we get it together and get back motivated in the New Year.

  4. I love your top Kishina! I too have been feeling a little burnt out from the blogging world. I feel like I'm giving so much of my time, space, energy and money to it and I'm getting anything in return. Our niche is definitely an over-saturated one. I guess at this point its about finding your voice, really get to know your core audience and follow your passion. #BloggerWoes

  7. I've been lurking for a long time now, but this purple on you just made me have to say something. That is your color!!! It's such a pretty fun shade. And I love the way you styled it. I would've gone safe (and boring) with denim or black leggings. Now I'm thinking I need to add some olive leggings to my collection. Just perfect!
