Pop of Color

Before I was a pink girl, blue was my favorite color.  There's something very calming and relaxing about the hue and at one time it seemed to be the most dominant color in my wardrobe.  However, PINK is now my new fave and it has seriously taken over my closet as well...lol.  My wardrobe goals are to dabble in some other colors besides my favorite.  I don't know how well that will pan out, we shall see.

I found this pretty peplum hem blouse at one of my favorite trendy department stores, It's Fashion.  I tried it on in the dressing room and immediately began twirling in the mirror...lol.  I fell in love with the cobalt blue color and the fit is perfect.  It hides my tummy a bit and so it received rave reviews for that.  It also has a bit of a hi-low effect to the back portion of the peplum hem giving my booty a bit more coverage as well...lol.

Palazzo pants are a staple for me when it starts heating up in the south.  Their free flowing silhouette is perfect for letting my thighs breathe a little.  They are one of the most flattering to any frame in my opinion.  I loved this black and white chevron print and felt I could style these many different ways, so you will definitely see these again soon...stay tuned.

And yeeeesss for this hand bag honey!! Aaagh! I am swooning over it.  Very pretty color for spring and the faux leather adds perfect texture and dimension to this outfit.  Mmm hmm, I will be carrying this a bit for the spring season as well.  Another piece I'm sure will make the blog more than once.

My new favorite kitten heels are soooo comfortable, y'all.  I can NOT rock heels that are over 3 inches in height.  I just CAN'T... Kudos to you ladies who can.  I would love to, but my knees won't let me...lol.  I'm vertically challenged as is at 5' 5", but heels are not my friend.  So the next best thing to make me feel feminine is to rock a kitten heel.  In my younger days, I could rock a baaad heel, feel me?  But my loud roar has now gone to a little purr....meow.

  6. The colors are beautiful! That cobalt blue is everything against the black and white. I have palazzo pants on my thrift wish list and definitely need to get some. Great look here. Thanks for linking up with the Thrift Sisters.
