Love & Happiness

Okay, so clearly I'm having fun with fashion...lol.  Can you tell?  I feel fashion is a way we can show the world who we are in a sense.  The inspiration behind this post, however, is a song I heard while riding home from work one day last week.  Some of you may know the song's artist behind the title of my blogpost.  I like to reminisce at times, it's good for the soul.  Anywho, I relate more to the music my parents listened to during their heyday.  Back when songs had meaning and you could understand the passion of the artist, and the words of the songs for that matter.

I can NOT get with the music of this generation today...does that mean I'm getting old?  I don't feel old...oh well.  I've been natural for several years now.  So this is the natural texture of my hair all blown out.  It's very kinky, unruly at times, and hard to tame...lol.  The reason that I prefer wearing protective styles such as the one I've been wearing for the past several posts.  But today, I'm serving full on afro honey.  Had to let her out for a bit...lol

Love Knit Tee ~ Lane Bryant

Denim skinnies ~ Old Navy

Pink Pumps ~ Bandolino via The Clothes Mentor

Handbag ~ Cato Fashions

Cutting a rug and feeling fabulous here...lol.  Felt like I was a part of the Soul Train dancers.

Until next time....
Peace and Love,
