Snow Leopard

Although spring is here, we've still been experiencing some extreme low temperatures in the south. I wore this look a couple of weeks ago on a weekend outing. The raspberry colored jacket helped to keep my look fashionable and warm. I like how the color compliments my skin tone. And I stayed true to my love of animal print with this button up blouse in a leopard print. The fit is not the greatest on my frame but I made it work for me. And those military style boots came in handy while shopping. They were very comfy. Overall, I enjoyed wearing this look.

Living My Life Like It's Golden

While sifting through photos of outfits that I haven't blogged about yet, I came across these. I remember snapping these last year as the fall season was coming to an end. I'm still new at blogging and for some reason I just can't seem to be consistent in cranking out fresh content on a regular basis.

Colorful Chevron

#OOTD

I fell in love with this blouse the first time I laid eyes on it. The chevron print was absolutely beautiful to me. I found this at Lane Bryant for a steal. A girl always love a good bargain. I've actually worn it several times, but just recently decided to blog about this particular outfit.

I recently had Senegalese twists put in my hair and just like any lady who has her hair done, I was feeling fabulous! On another note, I find I still struggle slightly with how much I've gained and getting back to my healthy weight.

Nevertheless, I know one day I will get there. Until then, I plan to dress myself in ways to make me happy.

Beverly Hills Polo

This is a look I go for when I want to dress casually. I wore this on a Saturday while out running errands and doing a little shopping. I found this blue Beverly Hills Polo sweater with raspberry contrast lining the neck, sleeves and hem for...wait for it... $8.99. I saw it on the rack and it was originally a $60 sweater. Don't you just love finding a great bargain?! I decided to pair the sweater with a light wash denim jean and my pink comfy Converse shoes. I don't know about many, but I CANNOT shop unless I'm comfortable. I love how this outfit came together because it is comfy yet chic. And of course it showcases my favorite color. Pink!  What do you like to wear to be comfy?

Warming it Up in Winter

I love how this ensemble came together. I decided to wear this to church and received lots of compliments on my clutch. Being a mother of four and trying to remain stylish on a tight budget is actually a fun challenge for me.

I put this outfit together for less than $40. So let's talk about the deets! The orange sweater was scored at one of my favorite thrift stores Goodwill. It was less than 4 bucks. The white button up and denim skinnies were gifted. I'm so blessed :)

The gold belt came as one of a set of three and cost around 3 bucks. My nude peep toe pumps were what cost the most at 25 dollars, but I got a second pair (black) for half off. I'm a sucker for a bargain...lol. Finally the clutch I received so many compliments on...a whopping $4.99.

Cowboy Boots and Denim

Golden mustard colors are beautiful for fall.  Yes, I know it is winter and I'm super late in posting this look.  I have worn this dress several times and decided to style it with some cute cowboy boots and a scarf.  The Jessica Simpson bag was a loaner from my sister.  I don't think she's gonna get it back, though...lol.  The belt I added accentuates my waist.  To keep warm on this brisk fall day I opted to add a dark wash denim jacket.  What do you think of this outfit?  Do you love cowboy boots and denim?

Happy New Year!!

I saw this mustard colored sweater in Lane Bryant and just had to have it!!  I was lucky enough to catch this on sale, and what fashionista doesn't love a good sale?  I'm all for finding a good bargain and getting the most bang for my buck.  Their sweaters were half price during the holiday season.  The bodycon skirt, I scored at Old Navy back in the summer for $12 bucks! I decided to pair the outfit with black tights and patent leather pointy toe shoes that I thrifted for about 4 bucks. How was your New Year's Eve?  Leave me a comment below.  Thanks for stopping by my blog!
