Bohemian Vibes: Look 2

Hey y'all!  This is the second outfit for this week's theme of Bohemian inspired looks.  Missed the first post?  Check it out here.  I wore the featured outfit this past weekend for festivities downtown.  My family and I had a relaxed weekend and with the humidity point rising, I could only reach for things that wouldn't stick to my body....the struggle!!  Any way,  this outfit has pieces that are super old and the only things that I've added to my summer wardrobe is this kimono and the silver metallic sandals.

Sweater Remix

Hey y'all! I hope you're having an awesome week so far. Mine is going pretty good. No complaints here.  Just living and enjoying life.  Thankful to have a new day of grace and mercy.  God has been good to me.  Yes, I'm a believer and follower of Christ.  And it's amazing how he shows himself strong to me everyday in the midst of my weaknesses.  I'm not perfect, only human.  And I don't get it right every single day of my life, but I strive to be better each day.  To show love and kindness is my aim each and every day I'm given, even to those with ill intent toward me.  I realize that some who follow me may not have the same beliefs as I, and I'm okay with that.  God gives us free will to choose whom we serve and I choose him.

On Sundays I Wear Skirts | Tangerine and Leopard

If you've followed my blog for a while now, you'll know that my favorite print is leopard.  It pairs well with practically EVERYTHING to me.  The perfect blend of all neutrals is aesthically pleasing to the eye and you can basically add a plethora of colors to make it work.  I particularly love pairing leopard prints with a bright bold color such as this tangerine pencil skirt I scored for the low at Gabe's.  Can you believe it was only five bucks?  *Gasp*... There was no way I was leaving it hanging all by its lonesome on the rack.  And it's one of my favorite labels to wear, Lane Bryant.  Now, this skirt retails at around 50-60 bucks, and you know the thrifty part of me will NOT pay retail for anything...lol.  This skirt is old and no longer available, at least I couldn't find it on the web site or in store.  Hence, the reason I will be shopping my closet more because there is no way this should still have tags on it...*insert blank stare*.  Anywho...
