Thanksgiving Day Lookbook: Pleats and Peplum

It's finally here!  The week of Thanksgiving has arrived and I'm sooo excited to see all of my family.  The love, the laughs, the hugs and feels.  The food, the ham, turkey, collards, dressing, yams, pies and cakes.  Oh-em-geee!  This is definitely the time of year my eating habits are all over the place...lol.  Who can relate?

This week I've decided to share with you guys some options that will have you cute and comfy for America's biggest day of celebrating with an ultimate feast.  My family usually has a relaxed environment for Thanksgiving day. I always go for comfortable clothes that will allow the belly to expand with all the food that I'll be sampling devouring.

These boots have been in my closet for two years now.  I love the rich cognac color and they just pair well with a lot of  outfits in my fall wardrobe.

I love wearing this color combination together when autumn comes.  Jewel tones like this teal cardigan are so pretty and looks good on all skin complexions to me.  Pairing it with another bold color like mustard is one of my favorite color combos. I wore it a couple of years in this post here and again here.  Pleats and the peplum hem on this blouse are perfect way to hide the tummy when the perpetual "food baby" begins to show itself.

I've had this scarf for a couple of years now.  Always a go to when fall arrives.
