Continuing my love for all things easy and breezy this summer season, I wanted to share with you my most favorite striped dress. I found it at Ross for $9.99. I know the "fashion rules" of plus size women shouldn't wear stripes. "They make you look wider", they said. "Not flattering on your round figure", they said. "You'll draw attention to your wide hips", they said. Blah, blah, blah....
Well, I happen to looooove this dress on my wide hips. The fit and flare cut actually flatters my frame. And although the stripe design is horizontal, I don't care...lol. I felt very beautiful wearing it and even received some compliments that day. As I'm learning to gain more confidence in myself, I plan to break more fashion rules regularly....baby steps, though, baby steps...lol.

Oh, you look positively Adorable in this dress! I love how flattering fit and flare dresses are and these color stripes work wonderfully well with the cut. I say phooey on those thoughts on horizontal stripes. I can always find the cutest dresses at Ross.
