Hey y'all!  I can't believe how fast this year is progressing.  Autumn is fast approaching, however the temps in my neck of the woods are still unbearable...ugh!  Welcoming the "dog days of summer", I decided to continue my trend of wearing light breathable fabrics until we can see relief from these high temps here in the south.

Arms out and unbothered...lol.

I found this beautiful dress at one of my favorite department stores, Ross Dress for Less.  It was super affordable at just $8.99!  When I laid eyes on the beautiful watercolors painted on it, I couldn't help but smile.  This dress has been worn several times over the summer.  I had purchased a similar one, but failed to follow the label instructions on laundering...bummer.  ALL of the colors painted on that dress washed right off.  I was so sad...lol.  Lesson learned, pay attention to label instructions.

For accessories, I kept it simple with a strappy pair of nude thong sandals.  This pair is very inexpensive at $9.99 (y'all know I can't pass up a bargain), and they can be paired with almost EVERYTHING.  Adding a gold toned bracelet and some cute sunglasses completed my look.  I wore it on a weekend doing nothing but relaxing, soaking up some sun and breathing fresh air.
