Hey, fashion lovers! I wore this outfit on Christmas Day 2015. With the warm weather we experienced, I was able to layer this printed tank I got from my local Gabe's with a cardigan. Most winters in my area call for heavier layers than this. However, I was pleasantly surprised to wake up to tropical like temps that day.
While I love shopping at Gabe's, I have to remember that the bulk of their items are slightly irregular. You may find some things as simple as poorly sewn seams or longer than usual hem lines. This tank was a recent purchase and I feel the irregularity is within the hem line being a tad too long. Something is definitely slightly off. However, this top was only $4.99 so in the words of Tim Gunn, I opted to purchase it and "make it work."
I'm all for shopping on a budget. I would love to shop at high end department stores, but my current budget does not allow for that. I'm happy with purchasing similar items while staying within my means. I feel fluffy and fabulous in this outfit, and it didn't cost me more than I can afford. I can't wait to restyle this top! It's very comfortable. Flowing fabric, skims my curves, and drapes my body in all the right places.
Cardigan: previously owned | Tank: Gabe's $4.99 | Leggings: Cato Fashion (previously owned) | Boots: Avenue (previously owned)
I'm still basically shopping my closet guys, so a lot of things I blog this year will be from there. I will try to link similar items when I can, but I've opted to wear the things I love and simply restyle them for future outfits.
Thank you for reading my blog! I appreciate everyone of your comments, likes and shares. Until next time, stay sweet and be blessed!
Love your top! btw I read that line in Tim's voice lol
